Ohuhu markers review

About a month ago, I asked my parents for some OHUHU markers, markers I had seen some of my fav artists online use that seemed to be the go-to alcohol markers. Everyone seemed to like them because they were

1) alcohol markers [which means they don't run out as quickly as other types of markers and blend quite well and have a vivid pigmented look].

2) pretty affordable, at least compared to pricey COPIC markers at around 50p per marker.

I got the 40 set of markers that is 19.99 here is the link

3) not technically refillable with their own refills but you can use the Copic refills.

When I got them I

4) I loved the brush tip and chisel nib as it makes it easy to blend.

5) Swatched them here

Markers show up slightly different on all different types of paper so make sure to swatch them on the paper you use (this is them swatched on WHSmith sketchbook paper).

5) Downsides- they bleed through but that is expected of vibrant markers and they provide a mat so it doesn't bleed onto the next page

6) They bleed a little (as in the ink spreads) so don't expect the lines to be extremely precise.

7) I find the standard colours a bit dark but there is a pastel set.

8) I found they took a bit of practise to blend well

So far I've tried drawing people- abstract and otherwise, and plants with these markers

Overall I'd recommend these markers for the budding artist even the exp.erioenced one in need of markers

At least 3.5 stars

Happy creating!
