What(else) to …

read

My favourite 5 books I’ve read are:

Carry on by Rainbow Rowell

The year of the witching by Alexis Henderson

Ace of spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

Paper towns by John Green and

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

Paper Towns is set in a small town in suburban Orlando. Quentin has always loved Margo Roth Speilman, the wonder of this town. When she whisks him away on an adventure the night before she leaves will this be the last time she disappears? As Quentin follows her trail to a paper town, he’ll have to answer- who really is Margo? There are also some comedic bits with his friends Ben and Radar️️️️ - 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A mystery book for 13+

The Year of the Witching is a sort of classic witch book set in Bethel probably around the time of the Salem Witch Trials following the main character Immanuelle who's from the outskirts, mother 'was a witch' and feels out of place. When a mishap leads her to The Darkwood and her mother's old journey Immanuelle begins to learn that maybe the darkness of Bethel doesn't stem from witchcraft... 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A book for 13+ Sequel coming out in August.

Ace of Spades All you need to know is . . . I'm here to divide and conquer. Like all great tyrants do. --Aces When two Niveus Private Academy students, Devon Richards and Chiamaka Adebayo, are selected to be part of the elite school's senior class prefects, it looks like their year is off to an amazing start. Shortly after the announcement is made, though, someone who goes by Aces begins using anonymous text messages to reveal secrets about the two of them that turn their lives upside down and threaten every aspect of their carefully planned futures. As Aces shows no sign of stopping, what seemed like a sick prank quickly turns into a dangerous game, with all the cards stacked against them. Can Devon and Chiamaka stop Aces before things become incredibly deadly? ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

Carry on by Rainbow Rowell

It Ends with Us- follows our main character Lily, from chance encounters on a rooftop and diary entries from her past as she navigates romance and Boston. Newly moved in, Lily Bloom plans to start a flower shop. It had me hooked, and laughing and crying with the characters as they all seemed so real and it has a powerful message. ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

I recently finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid and am excited to get into The Book Thief by Markus Zusak so look out for those reviews

...Do

If you're not already engrossed in Wordle or one of the countless variants (my favourite of which are Globle, Worldle and Semantle) and Mr Weddle, an old teacher of mine's equation based version Ooodle, then you should try those. In March we celebrated my mum's birthday and Mother's Day

If you're looking for a place to go, New York is a strong choice for a city with good sightseeing and food.
