If you want to savour the winter then try making these cheese and chive biscuits, I think we (made this with my Dad shoutout to Altaf! ) added too much milk to the dough because we thought it would be too dry, and they came out more scone-like but were still great, add an extra 50g of parmesan if you like a cheesy flavour.

If you're looking for a family-friendly fun Christmas movie than Mary Poppins Returns was good, less family-friendly is Love Actually.

Another thing to watch on new years eve I find are the sum ups of the year, they’re usually a trip down memory lane and a good way to remember the highs and lows and celebrate the end of the year.

the RA (not so) summer exhibition (in London sorry Canadian readers) which my family and I went to see a few days ago, that was fun and enlightening with the theme of Reclaiming Magic.
